We're inviting you for a New Moon and slow-paced Yin yoga class. Yin yoga is a gentle form of yoga that uses longer holds to access the body’s extensive fascial network while inviting the practitioner into a meditative space.
The postures are passive, deep, low to the ground, and held anywhere between 3 to 5 minutes. This practice is unique in that you are asked to relax into the posture and soften the muscles to access the connective tissues around your joints.
Yin yoga focuses on strengthening parts of the body that we don’t use often, as well as the mind. A remedy to our fast-paced lifestyles, the atmosphere of this class is unhurried, internal, and relaxed, with a focus on self-exploration and discovery.
The intention behind yin yoga is to slow down and allow your body’s natural and innate intelligence to achieve balance. This class is accessible for all-levels.
