GETTING STARTED GUIDE

Yoga That Meets You Where You Are

If you’re new here, welcome home.

And if you’ve been thinking about coming back to your body, your breath, or yourself, you’re in the right place.

Home Studio Yoga is a neighborhood studio and third space where people come to feel better in their bodies, calmer in their minds, and less alone in their lives.

You don’t need to be flexible or need to keep up.

We’re here to be your soft place to land.

STEP 1

Get Your Intro Pack

We recommend starting with our New Member Intro Path, designed to help you ease into the studio, feel supported, and get familiar with the studio at your own pace.

Your intro includes:
✔ Access to all classes
✔ Guidance on which class to try first
✔ A warm, homey welcome

Your intro starts on the day of your first class.

STEP 2

Get the App

Once you’re set up, booking is simple.

The easiest way to book is through the Momence app, where you can view our schedule, reserve your spot, and manage your classes all in one place.

Download the app for Apple or Android.

If apps aren’t your thing, no worries, you can also book through our website, or we’re always happy to help in the studio.

STEP 3

Book Your First Class

Choose a class that fits your energy and your schedule. There’s no "right” choice here. If you’d like a little guidance, these classes are a great place to start:

Welcome (Back) to Yoga
Monday & Wednesday at 6:00pm

Mindful Flow
Monday & Friday at 10:30am
Saturday at 9:30am

If you’re unsure, you can always ask a teacher before or after class, or reach out to us at info@homestudio.yoga. We’re happy to help.

STEP 4

Your First Week, Made Easy

Starting something new can feel scary. We get that.
From the moment you walk in, our goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and at home.

What to bring:
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in
✔ A water bottle
✔ A yoga mat if you have one (we have extras!)
✔ An open mind

We provide props, you’re always welcome to bring your own.

Arrive about 10 minutes early so we can:
Show you around the studio
✔ Answer any questions
✔ Check in about injuries, preferences, or concerns
✔ Help you settle in before class begins

There’s no judgment here. Just support, familiar faces, and space to land.
